Jingle: About the title, yes. But about the snippet of conversation, no. I heard a guy on the street saying that to his companion. I'm sure it was innocent, but it triggered the imagination.
We all do it -- no point in denying it. Well, I'm here to admit that I am an inveterate eavesdropper. The folks behind me in line, the people at the next table, that guy on his cell phone passing me on the street... Those snatches of conversation that float my way are often intriguing, delicious, irresistable.
I've long thought that there was a book in those snippets, somehow. But I've never figured out how to put it all together. Until I do, I can't just let them drift away unrecorded.
And so, here we are. Pattiken
